Jimmy works with every client to understand the audience, space, timing and purpose—then shapes the programme so the magic belongs at that particular event.
Yesterday
From clowning to magic.
Jimmy began entertaining in his twenties with a charitable clown troupe around Chicago. After moving to New Zealand in 2006, he continued performing and later spent five weeks entertaining during Dubai’s 2015 World Shopping Festival. Returning home inspired the reinvention that became Jimmy Marvel.
Today
A full-time maker of wonder.
Guidance from experienced magicians and years of performance encouraged Jimmy to leave quality engineering and pursue entertainment full time. He designs and builds custom props, continually refines the show and keeps adding new effects.
Tomorrow
Passing magic forward.
Workshops are part of Jimmy’s longer vision: helping a new generation discover the discipline, confidence and delight involved in learning and presenting magic.
